SMS notification pilot program

PIRSA is piloting a new SMS notification system. This system will alert Riverland growers of confirmed single fruit fly detections on their commercial property.

If you're a grower and would like to participate in this pilot, please complete the Fruit fly notification registration.

When completing this form, please have handy:

• your business name
• your business ABN
• your postal address (whether residential or a PO Box)
• the address information for all of your properties that you'd like to receive detection notifications about
• the property valuation number (a 10 digit number, shown on your council or water rates notice) for each of these properties.

Please note that providing false or misleading information is an offence under the Plant Health Act.

The success and learnings from the pilot, as well as grower uptake, will inform planning for system implementation in 2024.
