Refreshing smoothie

Refreshing kick off

Start you day with this refreshing smoothie full of fruit and vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 1 beetroot, peeled and quartered
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and quartered
  • 1 carrot, roughly chopped
  • 1 orange, peeled, quartered, seeds removed
  • ¼ teaspoon ginger, peeled and minced
  • 3 scoops orange and lime sorbet
  • 500mls apple juice
  • 500mls water

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. If necessary, pour juice through a fine strainer.
  3. Serve immediately over ice or refrigerate until ready to use.
  4. Use pulp in another recipe, or mix in with your mulch.
